WHAT IS MORPHEUS-8?

Morpheus-8 is an FDA approved subdermal adipose remodeling device that uses microneedle therapy combined with radiofrequency energy delivery to stimulate cellular turnover in the upper epidermal layer of the skin.

Microneedling with morpheus-8 stimulates collagen production in the skin of the face and neck, tightening the skin and giving volume to relaxed skin areas. 

It can be used to efficiently reduce the appearance of skin defects such as wrinkles, stretch marks, acne scarring, loose skin and common signs of aging such as hyperpigmentation.

How Morpheus-8 Works

The Morpheus8 RF Microneedling combines two technologies, Fractionated Radio Frequency and Microneedling. During the treatment, microscopic needles puncture the skin and stimulate natural skin rejuvenation. In response, the body begins creating more collagen and elastin, which are structural proteins that keep skin healthy and supple.

In addition to microneedles, Morpheus-8 uses Fractionated RF energy to heat tissue. This causes the tissue to contract or tighten, further increasing collagen production. Unlike other RF Microneedling treatments that merely penetrate the skin on a superficial level, Morpheus-8 targets the deepest layers of skin tissue. The device is FDA cleared to rejuvenate skin by subdermal adipose remodeling—remodeling fat below the skin’s surface.
